Applications are open!

Applications for the Erasmus Mundus RESCO Master’s Programme must be submitted online through a dedicated application portal operated by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME, Hungary).

All applicants must complete the online application form with their personal details and upload the required documents listed below.
Please note that no additional documents can be submitted after the application deadline.

Follow the steps to apply

We’re delighted that you’re interested in joining our Erasmus Mundus programme!
Follow the steps below to complete your application on the E-Admission Portal.

01. Create your E-Admission account

  • Visit: https://e-admission.bme.hu/login/signup.php?lang=en
  • Read the information and click “I agree to the Privacy Policy of the E-Admission system.”
  • Fill in the required fields and select “Create my new account.”
  • Check your email and confirm your account to continue.

02. Access the application form

03. Complete your application

  • Read the instructions and open the “Registration form.”
  • Click “Attempt quiz now.”
  • Enter all requested information and upload all required documents on each page.
  • When everything is ready, click “Finish attempt,” then “Submit all and finish” (twice) to send your application.

Good to know:

You can save your progress and return to the form at any time. Don’t forget to submit your application before the deadline (CEST timezone).

Required Documents

Applicants must upload the following documents to the e-admission portal operated by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME, Hungary). Documents sent by email will not be accepted.

  • Copy of Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) certificate
  • Official transcript of records
  • Certified English translations of both documents 
  • Copy of passport
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Recent photo
  • Motivation letter (maximum 2 pages) explaining the applicant’s interest in the RESCO Master’s programme
  • One recommendation or reference letter (from a former professor, internship supervisor, etc.)
  • Proof of English proficiency

Funding preference

Applicants will also be asked to indicate their funding preference:

  • Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) scholarship application only
  • Self-funded application only
  • Self-funded option if not selected for a scholarship
