Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM)

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) are prestigious international study programmes co-funded by the European Union under Key Action 2 of Erasmus+. They are jointly designed and delivered by consortia of higher education institutions from multiple countries, offering students a fully integrated, transnational learning experience.

An EMJM allows students to:

  • Study in at least two European countries
  • Graduate with a joint degree or multiple master’s degrees
  • Receive qualifications fully recognised across all participating institutions

These programmes aim to:

  • Foster academic excellence, innovation, and internationalisation in higher education
  • Strengthen the global reputation and attractiveness of European universities
  • Equip graduates with advanced skills, intercultural experience, and strong employability

Through intensive mobility and international cooperation, Erasmus Mundus programmes:

  • Enhance the quality of higher education
  • Promote dialogue and mutual understanding between people and cultures worldwide

Students are encouraged to join the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA), the global network of alumni and students, to:

  • Connect with the worldwide community
  • Access additional resources and opportunities
